How to get new driving licence in just five days and avoid DVLA’s two month delays

The DVLA has previously urged drivers to use online services instead of paper forms.

Speaking at the Transport Committee yesterday, Julie Lennard, DVLA Chief Executive confirmed more drivers were now using more online services but it was “difficult” to reach some audiences.

She said over 77 percent of transactions were made online last year but more was needed to get the message across.

She added: “You can see a vast majority of transactions were online.
